Description
Please always identify existing gears before ordering spare part!
We are glad to help identificaton.
This gear can appear in mechanic (cable drive) odometers in any of below models:
These slightly helical gears can have tooth counts between 10-21 teeth.
The gears are tightly fit onto a 3mm diameter metal shaft.
Original gear develops a hairline crack over the years and becomes loose.
Our gears are made of crack resistant, self lubricating material and will hold grip reliably.
Please note that the displayed compatibility is only informative.
Most vehicle models used more than one gear configurations, and due to the long repair history of these vehicles it is usually not possible to recommend spare parts 100% without opening the odometer and identifying current gears first.
For further information regarding the identification of your VDO or Motometer gear set, please refer our article about gear identification
We are also glad to help in identification, even if the original gears are seemingly broken beyond recognition!
